M.Y. Taekwondo offers after school programs Monday through Friday from 2:30-6 pm for students Pre-K through 5th grade. We even provide transportation from the student's school to our Taekwondo studio. Our friendly and well trained staff take pride in offering a safe, fun and focused environment for your child's after school needs.
Taekwondo
We offer Taekwondo class for our after school students. Our core values, discipline, respect, and honor are at the heart of our curriculum and the kids reflect these values in their behavior on the mat, at home, and at school. The classes incorporate vigorous physical training with precision skills and techniques instruction. Master Yi fosters a positive, inclusive environment in the dojang. The children cheer for one another and offer one another support!
Pick Up
We currently pickup from the following schools: Colonial Trail, Goochland, Greenwood, Kaechele, Nuckols Farm, Randolph, Rivers Edge, Shady Grove, Short Pump, Twin Hickory, Short Pump Middle, St. Mary’s Catholic School and Pocahontas Middle. Activities
We also provide weekly games, arts and crafts and physical activity to stimulate and entertain our students. We believe that physical strength is complemented by mental strength, so daily homework time is an essential part of our program. We are there to help our students when they need help. We supervise our student's education the same way we teach Taekwondo; with passion, patience, and sincerity.
